cube9 : same as cube 6 but with Leith biharmonic viscosity.

cube10 : same as cube 9 but with ERA surface boundary conditions.

cube38 : same as cube37 but starting from WOCE climatology WGHC_(T/S)_510x6x510.bin

cube39 : same as cube38 but surface air temperature is increased by 0.5 deg K exf_offset_atemp=273.65 instead of 273.15 in data.exf

cube40 : same as cube38 but without specifying net shortwave radiation swflux for open water, instead it is computed from downward shortwave. this may cause considerably different summer sea ice extent.

cube41 : same as cube40 but for forcing dataset. The dataset is CORE, which is taken from http://data1.gfdl.noaa.gov/nomads/forms/mom4/CORE/CIAF_1p0.html
  Corrected Inter-Annual Forcing (CIAF_1p0) and necessary change is made:
  4Xdaily {Air temp, specific humidity, velocity}: changed to include leap yr
  daily {downward shortwave,longwave radiation}: changed to 4xdaily and leap-yr
  monthly {Precipitation}: changed to 4Xdaily and leap-yr
  The temperature/humidity are specified at 10m height as opposed to 2m.
  Also without specifying net shortwave radiation (swflux)
  There was a problem with reference height. See Chris' e-mail dated 11/20/2006 6:58 PM:
  NCEP winds and CORE winds, air temperature, and humidity are referenced to 10 m while NCEP air temperature and humidity are referenced to 2 m above the surface.
  Cube58 is an attempt to integrate with ht=hq=10 but cube58 crashed on 93/01/18.

cube42 : same as cube40 but for forcing dataset. Wind forcing fields are taken from CORE(see cube41) while other forcing fields are NCEP_RGAU (same as cube40) Also same EXE file as cube40, without compilation (as sea-ice package has possible modification then)

cube43 : same as cube40 but with bug fixes in growth.F, i.e., treatment of EVAP, HSNOW, and AREA(i,j,2)

cube44 : same as cube43 but for forcing dataset. The dataset is NCEP adjusted by ECCO-GODAE version 3, iter85, dsw is adjusted indirectly through swflux while dlw is unadjusted. Also same EXE file as cube43, without compilation

cube45 : same as cube43 but for forcing dataset. The dataset is mixed NCEP adjusted by GODAE v3.i85 and NCEP. Wind forcing fields are adjusted from GODAE(see cube44) while other forcing fields are NCEP_RGAU (same as cube43) Also same EXE file as cube43, without compilation

cube46 : 1992-1997 same as cube43 but with "exf_inscal_aqh=1.1" in data.exf_hr new data.diagnostics crashes right after 05-Mar-1997 06:00:00

cube47 : same as cube43 but including Peter Winsor's new monthly Arctic Ocean runoff climatology runoff-360x180x12.bin

cube50 : same as cube48 but with SEAICEadvSnow=.true. (but data.kpp same as cube49) Crashed June 2002 due to 1000+ m thick, oscillating hsnow near Antarctic coastline. Restarted from 263016 (Jan. 1, 2002) with 20 m hsnow cap in pickup_seaice.0000263016.data for ix=321:323; iy=364; of face 6. Had to restart a second time from 273888 after caping snow at 12 m. Note that same integration but with data.kpp same as cube48 crashed after one year, but nothing abnormal was noticed in simulation leading up to crash, so probably a fluke.

cube51 : same as cube50 but with bottomDragQuadratic = 0.0012 (but data.kpp same as cube47)

cube52 : same as cube51 but with exf_albedo = 0.16

cube53 : same as cube51 but with exf_scal_BulkCdn = 0.9

cube54 : same as cube50 but with local, North Atlantic Mode Water Region perturbation to humidity (aqhfile='cube54_spfh2m/RG_spfh2m')
