Global cubed-sphere ECCO2 solutions.
Starting with integration cube09, output format is in terms of cube
faces, that is, 510x6x510. An example matlab script for reading and plotting
cubed-sphere output is lookat.m
with supporting functions here. Another
matlab program for reading and plotting the cube09 and later simulations
is available here.
Available output files for cube09
to cube21 are hourly,
3-day, and yearly averages.
Available output files for cube22
to cube42 are six-hourly,
daily, and monthly averages.
Available output files for cube43
to cube45 are six-hourly,
daily, and monthly averages.
Available output files for cube46
onwards are six-hourly,
daily, and monthly averages.
For integrations cube01
to cube08 model output was in a tiled format, 85x216x85. An
example matlab script for reading and working with this format is in
lou.nas.nasa.gov:/ecco/menemenl/cube/cube01/matlab/lookat.m. Available
output files are 3-day
averages.
